RESORT UPDATES
Preparing for Your Vacation

With your health and safety in mind, amenities and services may be closed, unavailable or limited. So you and your party can be blissfully social, while maintaining a healthy distance from others. Leading up to your stay, please be sure to check Resort Updates often to see the status of individual vacation properties.

Face coverings may be recommended or required. To learn more, please review the resort property-specific information below and see Face Covering Requirement information.

Face Coverings at Our Resorts

As recommended by the CDC, Owners and guests are encouraged to wear a face covering indoors, regardless of vaccination status, in areas the CDC defines as substantial or high for COVID-19 transmission. This recommendation is in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts operate.

Please refer to the Resort Update page for specific information regarding local government mandates that may currently be in place.

Face coverings are required for all unvaccinated Owners, Members, and guests at each of our resorts. Shared spaces where face coverings must be worn by unvaccinated Owners, Members, and guests include the following:

  • Indoor public spaces and common areas.
  • Lobbies.
  • Food & beverage outlets, including pool bars, convenience stores, and other similar venues.
  • Fitness centers.
  • Outdoor public spaces where social distance of 6 feet (2 meters) cannot be maintained.

Please Note: The above requirements are in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts are located.

Exceptions

The following exceptions apply to the above face covering requirements for unvaccinated Owners, Members, and guests while on property, but please note that any more stringent requirements mandated by governmental authorities in jurisdictions where our resorts are located will still apply:

  • Individuals younger than 2 years old.
  • Individuals with a health or medical condition that prevents them from wearing a face covering.
  • Individuals who are actively communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication.
  • Individuals who are eating or drinking and seated at a food establishment on property. (Individuals will be required to wear a face covering while moving around the food establishment and until they are seated at their table.)
  • Individuals who are exercising outdoors, including running, biking, and swimming, and who are able to socially distance while doing so.

RESORT OPERATIONS

Social Distancing Guidelines
Across our resort properties, we’ve made adjustments to support social distancing and decreased gathering sizes in response to governmental mandates and guidance issued by health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.

In Preparation for Your Arrival
Where currently permitted, we are taking steps to gradually restore previously closed or modified amenities and services across many of our resorts. However, in the days and weeks ahead, the availability of on-site amenities and services will continue to be limited. Adjustments will continue to be made in response to government mandates, as well as modified operational protocols that Hyatt Residence Club is implementing across our resort portfolio. For the current status of amenities and services at a specific resort, please visit our Resort Updates page.

Confident in Our Care
We’ve elevated our already high cleaning standards to include the use of hospital-grade disinfectants and availability of hand sanitizing stations throughout the resorts. And we’ve adopted measures to help all our vacation members and guests be blissfully social while comfortably distanced.

Healthy Steps

As part of our Care & Cleanliness Commitment, thank you for following these healthy steps, for the safety of all members, guests and colleagues: washing hands thoroughly and consistently; covering a cough or sneeze; social distancing, both on property and off; avoiding unnecessary personal contact such as shaking hands; wearing face coverings if unvaccinated; and avoiding public spaces — and refraining from travel — when not feeling well.

Please remember that the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is highly contagious. We cannot guarantee that all members and guests will share our commitment to health safety, and it is possible that you may encounter others on vacation who are contagious. We are doing our best to help you vacation safely and thank you for doing your part, too.
